Black Tie Affair

Based in Houston TX

Whether a private soiree or a large corporate event, Black Tie Affair will tailor itself to your needs. The elemental members of the band consist of drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, male vocals, and female vocals. However, this lineup can be extended and made as large as necessary to replicate any song list. By request, fiddle, steel guitar, a horn section, a string section, and percussion section can be added.

THE SONG LIST

Our music list is both extensive and varied. As a group, we are constantly learning new material to ensure that the music we play is currently topping the charts, alongside rock, country, jazz, disco, and other music from the 1950’s to present day. We will work with you to create a custom song list for your event. In addition to our sizable repertoire, we have the ability to learn requested songs for special occasions.

THE SHOW

From small, intimate cocktail parties to large scale corporate events, Black Tie Affair will set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The band has the ability to play milder set lists at a lower volume if ambient background music is what the client has in mind. At the other end of the spectrum, Black Tie Affair can bring the house down with show-stopping, high energy dance hits guaranteed to engage the whole crowd. Want to keep the music going between sets? We can provide a custom built mp3 playlist to put on between sets. To ensure that your event goes smoothly, we also have the ability to perform master of ceremonies and emcee duties. Just ask!

THE SET UP

We provide our own P.A. and sound system for your event. We can keep things simple or add an array of lights and production to the show. The band dresses in all black (We are Black Tie Affair, after all!), with ties that color coordinate with your event. By request, the band can don more casual attire. Just let us know exactly what you’d like, and we’ll make it happen!

THE PLACE

Although Black Tie Affair is primarily a band for hire in Houston TX, we are certainly willing to travel in order to play your event. Our service area also includes Austin TX, Dallas TX, Texarkana TX, Corpus Christie TX, Louisiana, Arkansas, and more. We will travel the continental United States.

THE ACCLAIM

We are proud of our lineup of professional musicians. Our members have worked with the studio teams of George Jones, Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack, Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton, Stella Parton, Armageddon, Easy Street, and countless others. Additionally, they have all enjoyed radio success in stations across the country and around the world and have made numerous television appearances. Each member brings experience in entertaining audiences of all ages. Black Tie Affair is known as the band that has something for everyone.
