The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra

Based in New york NY

The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra is a swing-era big band that plays the music of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. The band plays classic arrangements, forgotten gems from artists like Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Glenn Miller and many more! The band includes some of NYC's top young professional swing musicians (most of the band is under age 40!), all dedicated to playing authentically in the vintage styles of the Jazz Age and Swing Era.

The band has appeared at venues like the Rainbow Room and Lincoln Center, and their recordings (along with those by Glenn's smaller bands) have been used to underscore dozens of TV and Film projects such as Agent Carter (ABC), Manhattan (WGN), Pretty Little Liars (ABC), Alive and Kicking, Leading Ladies, and Old Fashioned.

The GCO is NYC's top choice for the big-band music of the jazz age and swing-era. If you're looking for a smaller combo, make sure to check out Glenn's other listings as well!
