At a young age, Lyle showcased his exceptional talent as the Washington State Accordion Teachers Association champion and achieved recognition in multiple categories at Canada's largest accordion competition.

His musical repertoire is diverse, encompassing a wide range of genres, including but not limited to WWII Standards, Latin, Show tunes, and Ethnic selections. Lyle's passion for music has led him to create several recordings of his own, and he has also collaborated with various bands, lending his musical expertise to their projects.

Throughout his illustrious career, Lyle has embarked on extensive tours across the Midwest, captivating audiences with his melodious performances. Notably, he has had the privilege of taking his musical talents overseas to countries like Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland, where his music transcended cultural boundaries, resonating with audiences from all walks of life.
