Trotters Wake is a 2-6 piece acoustic Irish band, playing in the Phoenix-Metro area and beyond. Our instrumentation includes guitar, electric bass, fiddle, banjo/mandolin, penny whistle, bodhran (Irish hand drum)/concertina, and vocals. We play a high energy mix of Irish drinking songs, rebel songs, ballads, and traditional instrumental tunes. 

We have played at large venues such as The Herberger Theater Center, Glendale Glitter and Glow Block Party, The Phoenix Heart Walk, and Indian School Memorial Hall, and the Phoenix St. Patrick's Day Faire to name just a few. Aside from standard pub or restaurant performances, we can enhance any event or program. Here are some suggestions:

Weddings - Getting married? Check out our Weddings page. How about an hour of Irish music to keep your guests entertained before or after your wedding ceremony while your pictures are being taken. You'll even receive some free/discounted CD's as gifts for your wedding party or other special guests. We've also done ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and full receptions.

Corporate - Ballads and Instrumentals as background music during a lunch or dinner, followed by some audience participation. In true corporate form, we can also provide a PowerPoint presentation for the sing-along selections if desired.

School/Civic/Community Events – Trotters Wake has several hours of material suitable for such events.

Church - Trotters Wake is uniquely positioned to provide entertainment to churches, since two of our musicians are Christian praise leaders and two others play on praise teams or Christian bands. Like corporate events, we can provide music during a meal, and some sing-along, but with praise music before or after your program. 

Funerals/Wakes - Wakes are becoming a more common way to send off our loved ones. We can provide a party atmosphere, sentimental tunes, or spiritual music to best suit your situation.
