Stewedsheidzel/Bavarian Stew was a featured group for Elizabeth Taylor’s birthday extravaganza held at Disneyland, and also performed for Disney Animation, Christmas Day Celebration for Disneyland Hotel, and the Lake Arrowhead Village Oktoberfests since 1985, Southern California casinos as well as Las Vegas and Laughlin Nevada Casinos. They were also featured in the movie “Piranha,” which aired on Showtime, as well as commercials for Ford “Focus” and “Camel” advertisements. They perform regularly at venues which include Mountain Lakes Resort, Crown City Brewery, Pasadena; Matt Denny’s Ale House, Arcadia; Montrose Oktoberfest, Monrovia Oktoberfest. They were the house Oktoberfest band for 12 years for Ramada Express Hotel & Casino in Laughlin NV. Among the other casinos they have performed at are the Riverside Resort Hotel, Harrah’s, Boulder Station and Silverton Casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stewedsheidzel/Bavarian Stew has recorded their first CD, which is now available for your dancing and listening pleasure.

Stewedsheidzel/Bavarian Stew is led by Trombonist Stewart Undem, who was a featured performer with the Harry James Band from 1978 through 1980. He received the outstanding performer award at Lincoln Center while performing with the Stan Kenton All Star Band led by Oliver Nelson. Stewart Undem is also a member of the Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce, and Entertainment Director for Lake Arrowhead Village” Center Stage” concert series. Also, Stewart has been a member of the “Air National guard band of the Southwest” for over 21 years. He regularly performs with the Redlands Symphony and teaches applied music at California Baptist University and California State University San Bernardino. Stewart, is involved with recordings in the Los Angeles Area, and contracts musicians for major theatrical shows. His own Jazz Big Band, Dixieland, Band, and Brass Quintet have performed for corporate and charity functions throughout Southern California.
