Bode Music Service

Based in Miami Beach FL

Bode Music Service will be both the event's master of ceremonies and a skilled musical curator, ensuring every element of the wedding's audio is perfectly executed. The role involves extensive pre-event planning, meticulous day-of execution, and coordination with other vendors.

Before the wedding

Initial consultation: Meeting with the engaged couple to discuss their vision, musical tastes, and any specific requests or traditions. Playlist curation: Creating custom playlists for all applicable wedding segments (ex: ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing). Timeline creation: Working with the couple and/or wedding planner to establish a detailed timeline for all musical and announcements-based cues. Name pronunciations: Confirming the correct pronunciation of all members of the wedding party and anyone giving toasts to ensure a flawless experience. "Do not play" lists: Respecting specific song requests from the couple, including any songs/genres they explicitly do not want to hear. Vendor coordination: Communicating with other vendors, such as the photographer, videographer, and caterer, to ensure seamless transitions between events.

On the wedding day

Professional presentation: dressed in professional attire that matches the formality of the event. Early arrival and setup: Arriving several hours before guests to set up, test all equipment, and organize cables for a tidy and professional appearance. Master of Ceremonies: Serve as the evening's emcee with clear, charismatic, and sincere public speaking, and avoiding inappropriate or attention-seeking jokes. Key announcements: Making all important announcements, such as Introducing the wedding party and the couple; announcing the first dance, cake cutting, and toasts; directing guests to appropriate locations. Full audio coverage: Providing high-quality sound equipment and music for every part of the wedding, which may require setting up separate sound systems for different areas. Equipment management: Operating and troubleshooting all sound and lighting equipment throughout the event. Crowd reading: Intuitively adjusting the music in real-time to match the mood and energy of the room, ensuring the dance floor stays active and engaged. Guest requests: Skillfully managing on-the-spot song requests from guests while staying true to the couple's overall musical vision. Problem solving: Handling any unexpected logistical or technical issues with composure and flexibility.
