INTRODUCING THE FIDDLIN' BROTHERS

When one thinks of violins, often, they get images of classical music. Imagine then the surprise of many when instead this young 12 & 14-year-old violin duo open their concert with a song from Guns N’ Roses or Metallica. The resounding applause says it all.

This dynamic musical duo embodies the rich heritage of almost every genre of music one can play on the violin. From Rock, Alternative, Gospel, Country, Sea Shanties, Hoedowns, Dance, Seasonal, and Patriotic to Waltz, their repertoire is as extensive as it is diverse.

These exceptionally talented siblings, Ari (14 years old) and Aven (12 years old) Nercessian, the Fiddlin’ Brothers have become a driving force in redefining songs one would never expect to hear on a violin, much like Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes or whoever thought one could play The Final Countdown by Europe on a fiddle? Imagine then the reaction of the audience when hearing for the first time the kids perform songs like Kashmir by Led Zeppelin live.

Even at their young age, the Fiddlin’ Brothers bring an infectious energy to every stage they perform. Whether playing in front of a sold-out 3000-seat theatre at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino or 40 patrons enjoying a meal at a bar and grill, their synergy is palpable, a testament not only to their musical prowess but the uncanny ways they entertain.

During family-centered venues for example, the boys will call children from the audience to join them on stage to play maracas, tambourines, and shakers as their backup band to one or two of their songs while at other events geared toward adults, they will walk into the midst of the crowd, sitting at an empty chair next to someone serenading them with their music. One of the Fiddlin’ Brothers’ favorite acts however is during their performance of The Devil Went Down To Georgia by Charlie Daniels, they have a hidden golden fiddle the devil (Performed by 12-year-old Aven) surrenders to Johnny (Performed by 14-year-old brother Ari)

Since picking up the fiddle for the first time at the age of 10, playing by ear, watching videos, and taking violin classes online, the Fiddlin’ Brothers have received numerous accolades, medals, and awards from various fiddle competitions. Their talent has not gone unnoticed, however. The Fiddlin’ Brothers have been featured in several television, radio, and print news such as Good Day Sacramento.

These brothers have an engaging stage presence that draws audiences into their world, the Fiddlin’ Brothers create an unforgettable experience that leaves hearts singing, toes tapping and crowds cheering and dancing.
