Hot Club du Chicago is an accoustic jazz string quartet specialized in the gypsy swing jazz of the 20's and 30's. This novalty type of jazz was made by the incomparable Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli of France. This is upbeat tempo swing, nostalgic, with great melodic lines, people will tap their feet to this music! It is very challenging technically because of the particular style of improvisation and not to be confused with the bepop form. This style of jazz it is considered number one in Europe and it is making its way to the US.
