Based in Maple valley Washington
I have been playing the banjo for over 20 years. Growing up in East Tennessee, I feel well versed in Bluegrass and Classic Country music. I started playing out at the age of 12, and I haven't stopped yet. I have performed on the Grand Ole Opry, along side Mr. Jim Lauderdale, and Dr. Ralph Stanley. I am proud of that, they are both musical heros of mine. I also used to be a sideman for Mr. James Monroe and the Midnight Ramblers. I have played on a Grammy Nominated album with Jim Lauderdale. Currently I teach music at Dusty Strings Music School in Fremont Washington. I enjoy watching folks learn and play music, especially for the first time!
