He also does a lot of solo guitar work, playing the Great American Songbook ("standards") and jazz (mainstream or "straight-ahead" style). He also works with singers and has a group with an excellent local female vocalist.

Recent appearances around LA include, South Beverly Grill, Beverly Hills (trio, every other Monday), Red White + Bluezz, Pasadena (solo, duo and trio, at least two nights per month), Charcuterie, Sierra Madre (solo usually two times per month), Bleeker St, Tarzana (trio), Ugo, Culver City (trio with vocalist), Oyster House, Studio City (solo).

"Jesse Bradley is a tasteful, swinging guitarist, one who has his own fresh chord voicings. While his music will be enjoyed by the fans of the great 50's and 60's jazz guitarists, he has developed his own voice and his music is full of subtle surprises." Scott Yanow, jazz critic, journalist and author of nine books about jazz.

"Jesse Bradley is a brilliant musician whose guitar playing consistently gets to the heart of the music." Jim Nadel, Director, Stanford Jazz Workshop and Lecturer/Coordinator of Jazz Studies, Stanford University.
