Joe Reidy

Joe Reidy, is a trombonist, vocalist and solo acoustic guitarist. He regularly performs with Mike Girard's Big Swinging Thing, The QCC Jazz Ensemble,  The Swinging Skeletones, The New England Swing Orchestra, Charles Neville and The Skeletones Big Band, The Tequila Amigos and Briefcase Full of Blues.  His main projects are Wachusett Jazz,  and his eponymous solo acoustic act.  He combines a blend of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Funk, Folk and Latin influences to create a unique style all his own and one that is instantly recognizable. His performance credits include Grace Kelly,  Mike Girard's Big Swinging Thing, Charles Neville, James Montgomery, The Stompers, Rock E. Rollins, The New England Radiators, Jill Connolly, The Steve LeClaire Big Band and a memorable, novelty New Years Eve appearance with Aerosmith. For those whose interest is Ancient History: He was voted Worcester's Best Trombone Player in Worcester Magazine's "Best of Worcester" Reader's Choice Poll in 1979.
