Santa Ron from Becoming Nick is a real-bearded Santa, with membership in the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas. He is a graduate of the CH Howard Santa School in Midland, Michigan and has attended the school four times. Santa Ron has been a Santa for five years, having retired from pastoral ministry in evangelical churches after over forty years. Santa Ron has served for five years at the Midland County Santa House, one of the premiere Santa experiences in Michigan.

Santa Ron has a sincere approach to his character. He is not flamboyant or aggressive, choosing rather to be gentle, authentic, and compassionate. He is good with special needs individuals, and enjoys chatting with children. Santa Ron specializes in being just Santa - no magic tricks, no juggling, no dancing. He does love to sing with children on occasion.

When he is not Santa, Ron is a husband of 49 years, a father of four grown children, a grandfather of four great kids, and loves camping, fishing, and gardening.
