✨We are One Way Traffic, a five-piece band born right out of an open-mic bluegrass jam in the St. Louis, Missouri scene. Our sound mixes a heavy dose of bluegrass roots with Americana, blues, and jazz, throwing everything into a blender to create a fast, energetic gumbo of music that keeps people on their toes. Whether we are tearing through a driving acoustic jam, trading solos on mandolin, violin, and guitar, or locking down a thick vocal harmony, we love playing music that moves fast and hits hard.

Over the years, we have cut our teeth playing packed local spots like the Broadway Oyster Bar, working our way up to major festival stages and sharing bills with heavy hitters like Yonder Mountain String Band and Leftover Salmon. When we bring our show to a wedding reception, a private party, a corporate function, or an outdoor festival, we do not care about playing it safe. We want the room to feel loose, loud, and fully dialed into what we are doing on stage, keeping the energy high from the first chord down to the last encore.
