Pat Palika Enos

Based in Westminster CA

My name is Pat Enos (Palika), and I have been playing Polynesian music for over 20 years.  I have done many weddings as a solo Hawaiian wedding singer for the actual ceremony.  I am one of the first ones at the site, and I tastefully entertain as family and guests arrive.  Thank you for allowing me to quote your wedding event.

For the processional, a favorite of the bride is to have me sing the 'Hawaiian Wedding Song' or ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’.  I do both very well accompanied with my ukulele.  I also will blow the Hawaiian pu, a conch shell that is traditionally used for gathering attention for special announcements.  (I reserve the blowing of the pu only to announce the start of the bride's processional).

If you request, I will entertain while cocktails are being served, and the guests are awaiting dinner.  I will have to arrive early enough to set up my sound system for the cocktail hour.  I do not use electronic amplification for the ceremony, but will need to for the cocktail hour.  We play traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian music.  We could also include a hula dancer if you so desire.

If the cost of a full trio does not meet your budget, I have performed at many cocktail hours with my bass player.  Together we do a great job providing wonderful ambiance music.  A bass player really adds to the overall sound, however, I have done many events solo using a CD to assist in my performance.  If you just want background music,

I hope one of the above packages fits your upcoming wedding event.  I am responsible, personable, and a great Hawaiian musician.  An MP3 of me singing 'Hanalei Moon', and my picture are attached for your review.  Refereces will be provided.
