Pavel is the world’s leading Bono impersonator and tribute artist. He’s been thrilling U2 and non-U2 fans alike for over many years with his musical talents and deep love and respect for all that U2 has brought to the world.

On several occasions, Pavel has doubled for Bono himself as well as being recommended by Bono to fill in several projects including being Bono's stand in for a Vogue Magazine photo shoot in New York City, a feature film project in Mexico City and a personal function in Miami, Florida.  Bono has also mentioned that he "has a double in the world".  

 

Pavel has been in many television shows, several movies, scores of magazines, newspapers and radio shows throughout the world.  He's had 2 NPR interviews.   Pavel's notoriety has been known to cause many scenes with his Bono impersonations that Bono himself had his assistant reach out to Pavel's webmaster to build a "Bonoofficial" site.

 

As a consummate showman and perfectionist, Pavel has been performing with his U2 tribute band "Desire" since the early 2000s.  He's also filled in for many U2 tribute acts throughout the world including to crowds of 40,000+ people.

 

He’s is also an accomplished photographer, writer, artist, poet, gardener. He also loves preparing creative meals for guest.

 

Pavel is also a dedicated humanitarian, using his knowledge and talents for various projects, including rebuilding homes following many natural disasters for the underprivileged throughout the USA, lecturing the needs of sustainable nutritionally dense food security throughout the world.  His one on one conversation with the former president of the United Nations included concepts of aqua/hydro/terra ponics, cover cropping, permaculture, vermiculture and no till farming, rainwater harvesting, water reclamation, eco-conservationism and economic development.

 

Pavel has spent time working with orphanages in many countries, including the 1991 summer working with handicapped orphans in Romania. Before leaving the country, Pavel designed and built a playground for 300 orphans. He has been a asked to do a TEDx talk on the topic of “Personal Humanitarianism”. He has also been a guest speaker that the Nikola Tesla Conference held in New York City highlighting the importance of engaging in humanitarian work.

His album “Lost in Thought” featuring his original piano compositions that are heavily influenced by many Classical period composers.
