The Simon Burke Jazz Band plays a unique blend of New Orleans and American Songbook standards, Latin and modern jazz that reflects the unique musical identity of New Orleans. Our music is a complex gumbo of the many musical styles that have emerged from the city and our repertoire includes material from the earliest days of jazz to the present - the music of Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller mixes with that of Gershwin and Cole Porter and more contemporary jazz and Latin artists.
