Stella (formerly Stella and The Hey Dudes)

Stella & The Hey Dudes is an organic, fun cover band based out of Austin, TX.  We are a female-fronted, 6 piece group featuring trumpet. Our diverse song selection covers many genres: 80’s, Top 40, R&B, 90's chick rock, and a little bit'o country.  When choosing songs, we try to find the right blend between popular classics but making sure we play songs that other bands are not.  We feature 2 strong female vocalists marrying strength and soulfulness to create stellar harmonies.  The core band is a 6-piece but we can be hired as a 3-piece to 7-piece group.  The 7-piece could be fiddle or another horn.  Our players have all played in one of the longest-running, premier private party bands in Texas: The Pictures Band from Austin, TX.
