I play the small Celtic harp, 34 strings, 4 feet tall. I can give programs and talk about the music and the harp. I can play several hours of traditional Celtic background music, i.e. jigs, reels, strathspeys, airs, hornpipes, O'Carolan, and more. I am following a deep love of Appalachian music and can play some favorites. I can often take requests.  I can play weddings and funerals, parties, celebrations, and house concerts. The music is usually quiet even when I am playing jigs and reels and airs. I usually play acoustically, but travel with a microphone. I do not own my own sound system, but can plug into an existing one. I do not sing. 

I also perform as a duo with a friend who plays viola da gamba. In addition to the above music, we play some early and original music.
