The Porchdogs

Based in Winter Garden Fl 34787 FL

The Porchdogs have specialized in authentic accordion-driven Louisiana Cajun and zydeco music since 1992. The band has had repeat performances at various Walt Disney World venues, at Universal Studios, Busch Gardens Tampa, Silver Springs, Cypress Gardens, and many other theme parks around Central Florida. They've had 9 years of multi-day shows at the Florida State Fair and the South Florida Fair, 13 years of multi-day shows at the World Famous Iron Horse Saloon in Daytona for Bike Week and Biketoberfest, and they're the only act -- local, regional, or national -- to have performed at all 15 years of the Ft Lauderdale Cajun Zydeco Crawfish Festival, which during its run was the largest festival of its type in the USA.   In addition to spicy Cajun and zydeco, the band is also fluent in New Orleans R&B standards by acts like Fats Domino and Huey Smith and other Louisiana or swamp-related songs. Trio-Quintet. We also do Pirate music!

Wonderful performers--personable and engaging--we so enjoyed having them with us! -Melinda M, Melbourne, FL

The Porch Dogs were fantastic! They set the mood for our event and kept our guests entertained throughout the night without being a distraction (it was a judicial reception with lots of socializing, so the band was not the focus of the event - the judges were). Our guests raved about them. They even kept playing past the agreed-upon end of the event and were very laid-back about it. We can't say enough good things about them! -Suzanne M, Orlando, FL

Andy Burr and Friends were simply fantastic. Right on time, organized, and great Zydeco and Cajun music. We look forward to having them back again. -Sam F, Key Largo, FL

Andy Burr and friends made our party an overwhelming success. They were great. -Beverly N, Brooksville, FL

These guys are awesome! We had great communication before the event, they squeezed us in between two other engagements, and they kick butt performing as well! Our crowd had a great time and we really loved having them. Hopefully we have another Mardi Gras event soon and can invite them back! -Stephanie M, Orlando, FL

Our event was large. We had an attendance of over 500 people. I would highly recommend that anyone who desires to draw this sort of an attendance use Andy and his group. We were thrilled by their performance. This was the second time that we have used them and could not be more pleased by the outcome. Thank you, Andy. -Sara N, Clermont, FL

A SONG REVIEW
The irresistible spirit of the south rolls in great supply through "Hey Tee Fee," a hot little number fusing zydeco, honky tonk, Old Time, and blues. Floridian Andy Burr and his band positively blow it out of the park with Burr's lonesome valley voice, jazzy accordion, drunken Appalachian fiddle, and hot steppin,' marching band drums. This is a song for young and old alike; anywhere with passionate spirit and a desperate desire to shake it out. I'd book Andy Burr at any street festival in America, in a heartbeat. -Nat A, Asheville, NC
