White Horse Storytelling

Based in Arlington WA

“So, you read stories to children…?” No, not quite….

I perform stories and engage your audience of any age in the theater of their imagination. Storytelling describes is the social activity of sharing stories, often with improvisation, theatrics, or embellishment. Every culture has its own stories or narratives, which are shared as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation or instilling moral values. I draw on those stories to engage, educate and entertain your audience, moving them out of their ordinary lives into something extraordinary.

I have programs of seasonal stories to fit the month and the mood:

  • Scary stories for Halloween;
  • Stories of gratitude, family and community for Thanksgiving;
  • Stories to celebrate the sun's return for the Yule season

And more!

I can create a program for your learning event from History or Social Studies. I have told Norse Legends at the Northwest Viking Fest and Fairy Tales at the St. Helens Fairy Festival.
