New Age Flamenco
\NEW AGE FLAMENCO is a group of professional musicians who will provide the perfect music for concerts, weddings, receptions, parties, or corporate events in your area. The band was formed in 1998 by bass player Oleg Ruvinov. After almost a year of music writing and rehearsing, the band began playing shows around Seattle. Some of their regular clients include the Columbia Tower, the Four Seasons Hotel, Overlake and Swedish Hospitals, and several Seattle's authentic restaurants - Barking frog, Willows Lodge, etc
In 1999, the band adopted name "New Age Flamenco" and practiced frequently playing popular tunes by Armik, Ottmar Limbert, Jessie Cook, Mark Antuan, Oscar Lopez. Their music reflects a strong Latin connection, Mediterranean folk, European roots, jazz, and a gypsy soul blended with the infectious rhythms of modern music masters like Steve Wonder, Sting, and the guitars of Paco DeLusia. It is inspired by rumba, son, tango, bossa nova, beguine, flamenco and urban American grooves. New Age Flamenco personifies eclecticism by absorbing their influences and combining them to create a new, personal sound of their own. All musicians are professionally trained and have a grate stage experience.
