Professional Entertainment Consultants™ operates GigRoster.com and pro-ent.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect From Clients Seeking Entertainment

Name, mailing address, e-mail address, contact phone, event date, type of event, style of entertainment requested, and event time and location.

We also collect standard website usage information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site — as described in Sections 7 and 8.

2. Information We Collect From Entertainers and Performers

Name, mailing address, e-mail address, contact phone, event availability, types of events performed, styles of entertainment performed, pricing information, and optional marketing materials including descriptions, photos, sound clips, and videos, which may be used anywhere on our websites for promotional purposes.

3. How We Use Client Information

We use client information to respond to the specific requests you make, to present entertainment options for your event, to administer bookings and contracts, and to provide periodic updates about entertainment before your event date.

We never sell your personal information. We never provide your contact information to performers, entertainers, or any other vendor seeking to market to you.

We do share limited information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf — including payment processing, e-mail delivery, website hosting, analytics, and advertising platforms. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Section 6 explains our use of advertising platforms in detail.

4. How We Use Performer Information

We use the promotional portion of your registration — photographs, descriptions, sound clips, and video — to present your act to potential clients.

Your contact information, including e-mail, address, phone, and website, is never published on our websites and is never given to any potential client. It is available only to our consultants for the purpose of contacting you about prospective or contracted performances.

5. How Long We Keep Information

We retain client information for as long as needed to serve you and to maintain our business records, and for up to seven years after your last event or last contact with us, whichever is later. We keep this history because many of our clients book entertainment repeatedly — for annual holiday parties, festivals, corporate events, and similar recurring occasions — and prior booking history lets us serve returning clients well.

We retain performer information for as long as your act is listed with us, and for a reasonable period afterward for business and tax records.

You may request deletion of your information at any time using the contact details in Section 10. We will honor the request except where we are required to retain records by law, or where the information is needed for an active contract.

6. Advertising and Remarketing

We advertise our services on search engines and other websites, including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.

Website activity. We use cookies and similar technologies from these platforms to measure which ads lead to inquiries and bookings, and to show our ads to people who have visited our websites. This is standard conversion tracking and remarketing.

Customer lists. We may share contact information — such as e-mail address, phone number, name, and postal code — with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising so that we can show relevant ads to existing and past clients, and so that we can avoid showing ads to people who have already booked with us.

When we do this, the information is converted into a hashed, irreversible form before it reaches the advertising platform. The platform matches it against its own signed-in users, and information that does not match is discarded. The platforms are not permitted to use this information for any purpose other than performing this service for us, and we do not receive any new personal information about you in return.

We do not use sensitive categories of information for advertising, and we do not advertise to anyone we know to be under 18.

You can opt out of this at any time — see Section 9.

7. Cookies

Our websites use cookies, which are small files stored by your web browser. We use them to remember your preferences, to understand how our site is used, and for the advertising purposes described in Section 6.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies will not substantially change your experience of our websites, though some advertising opt-outs rely on a cookie being present.

8. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our websites — how often people visit, which pages they view, and which sites they came from. We use this information only to improve our websites.

Google's use of information collected through Google Analytics is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We also use Google Maps APIs to enhance our websites' user experience, including the Google Maps Geocoding service for better search results and the Google Maps JavaScript API for auto-completing address forms. Your use of our websites is also subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

9. Your Choices and Rights

To stop receiving e-mail from us: reply to any e-mail with "Remove" as the subject, click the opt-out link at the bottom of any e-mail, or write to OptOut@PECmusic.com with the address you want removed.

To opt out of advertising based on your customer information: write to OptOut@PECmusic.com with "No Ad Targeting" as the subject and the e-mail address or phone number you want excluded. We will remove you from the lists we share with advertising platforms.

You can also control personalized advertising directly through Google Ad Settings and Microsoft's advertising opt-out.

To access, correct, or delete your information: contact us using the details in Section 10. Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We honor these requests from all our clients regardless of where they live.

Performers: you may delete individual acts or your entire account by logging in, or by writing to us from your listed e-mail address.

11. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Our websites are scanned and certified by SecurityMetrics, and our payment handling is certified PCI DSS compliant.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Sites Covered By This Policy

This policy applies to gigroster.com, pro-ent.com, PECmusic.com, and all sites and interfaces owned or used by Professional Entertainment Consultants™.

13. Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced on our websites.
